The STD1109S / STD1105S are compact internal modules that convert onboard RS-232 signals to RS-422 or RS-485. They can be installed directly inside the chassis to enable stable long-distance and multi-drop serial communication, while keeping the original RS-232 port available and reducing the number of motherboard SKUs required.
