Intel Corporation has discovered a design issue in a recently released support chip, the Intel® 6 Series (Sandy Bridge), and has implemented a silicon fix. In some cases, the Serial-ATA (SATA) ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices such as hard disk drives and DVD-drives.

To solve this emergent case, SUNIX supports complete PCI Express Serial-ATA Link solution for OEM/ODM and EMS customer to hot-fix this issue. There are Serial-ATA generation Ⅱ and Ⅲ solutions for 6G and 3G communication speed with two or four Serial-ATA RAID channels. |
