Question

My expansion cards are not working due to a driver fault. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver from the Sunix and currently I keep getting a Code 10 error stating the device cannot start. In terms of power I can confirm the SATA power is working, and any USB device I connect does power on.

Answer

Dear Sir

Windows 10 already built-in USB3.0 driver, so plesae do not install any driver for your computer.
The driver on our website is design for Windows7 OS. Please follow up below steps.

1. Remove USB3.0 driver that you installed.
2. Turn PC off. Remove power from AC plug.
3. Remove this PCIe USB3.0 card from current slot and install into another PCIe slot.
4. Revovery PC chassis and AC Power. Turn your computer on.
5. Windows 10 OS will detect new device and install driver automatically.
If not, please select update driver from Windows update (on-line).

Question

Hi,

That is quite strange. It was not working with the driver from Windows 10 in the first place, hence me trying the driver from the website. I will take the steps requested when I get home and advise of the outcome.

Thanks and regards,
Theo

Question

Hi,

It turns out that the driver that wasn't working is the Windows base driver. I followed the steps as requested and i got the same results. Are there any custom drivers or something I can load manually to fix this?

Kind Regards,
Theo

Dear Sir

Would you mind upgrade firmware for this card ? Howeve FW update tool only works for Windows 7.

Hi,

As luck would have it I have a micro ATX PC for simulations with Windows 7 Home . I will upgrade the firmware on just one of the 2 cards card to see if it works.
